It shall be the duty of the President to preside at meetings of the Association and to enforce order and a strict compliance with the Constitution and By-Laws of this Association; to cast the deciding vote on all matters when a tie vote may occur, except in the election of officers; and to perform all other duties that his office may require. The President shall decided all questions of law and order subject to appeal. The President shall sign all Honorary and Withdrawal cards, contracts, and other documents which require proper authentication of the office of President. The President shall be Chairman of the Executive Committee. The President shall receive a salary for such services. The President shall discharge on behalf of the Association such duties as may be imposed on the office of President by applicable law including the execution and filing of any reports to Federal or State authorities and shall cause to be maintained by the Association such records as the law requires to be kept in support of records filed by it. The President shall not work part-time except work related to the required military, or affiliated labor organizations, or approved by the membership. Such activity or work shall not interfere with the performance of the duties of the office of
The Secretary-Treasurer shall conduct all correspondence pertaining to the office of Secretary-Treasurer, accept all applications for membership and reinstatements, and perform such other duties as the membership may from time to time designate. The Secretary-Treasurer shall receive all dues, fines, and assessments, and prepare a financial report each month to be read at the regular monthly meeting. The Secretary-Treasurer shall forward such reports as may be required of the office by the International promptly, and, in conjunction with the President, shall be custodian of the "Seal" of the Association. The Secretary-Treasurer shall keep a true and accurate account of all dues paid into the Association and credit the members with payments as made, on the books of the Association prepared for that purpose and receive all monies paid into the Association. The Secretary-Treasurer shall deposit all monies into a bank approved by the Executive Committee subject to withdrawal upon order signed by two (2) of three (3) of the Executive Officers designated for this purpose by the Executive Committee to be used for current necessary expenses of the Association. The Secretary Treasurer shall submit all books and receipts to an independent CPA when required or to the Trustees when requested.
It shall be the duty of the recording-secretary to keep a true and accurate record of the minutes of the Association and the Executive Committee meetings. The Recording-Secretary shall keep a record of all amendments and additions to this Constitution and By-Laws in a book especially provided for that purpose. The Recording-Secretary may be paid for his/her service in the same manner as the Vice-Presidents.
It shall be the duty of the Vice-President(s) to assist the President in the discharge of the duties of office and to occupy the chair in the President's absence. The Vice-Presidents shall be members of the Executive Committee. Vice-Presidents shall be paid for work assigned by the President on behalf of the Association, with approval of the Executive Committee. Each Vice-President shall visit their assigned stations on a monthly basis to meet with general members to adress and pass on concerns at the upcoming meeting.
